Jennifer Marie Cowart, born April 9, 1978, age 47, passed away March 4, 2026 in Largo, Florida.  She was born in Savannah, Georgia to John E. Cowart and Susan Marie Roughen Cowart.

Jennifer graduated from Lowndes High School, attended Valdosta State University and South University Savannah Campus. She will be remembered for her caring spirit and the kindness she showed to those she cared for in their times of need. She provided comfort and compassionate care to many through her work with hospice, touching countless lives with her dedication and empathy.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher John Cowart.  She is survived by her son Elijah Shane Roland of Sevierville, Tennessee, her father, John E. Cowart, her mother, Susan Marie Roughen Cowart, her brother, Jason Cowart and his wife Anita of Cedartown, Georgia, and her grandmother, Marguerite “Peggy” Cowart. She is also survived by extended family members and friends who will continue to cherish her memory. 

Jennifer will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

The family is grateful for the love and support of friends and loved ones during this difficult time and asks that you please respect their need for privacy.
